Located on Historic Sand Island, Winning Touch at Sand Island's tennis courts are truly unique. Sand Island features a clubhouse and eight lighted Har-Tru tennis courts with an underground watering system to keep the courts playing great. In addition to the courts, Sand Island sits in a picturesque setting with a view of Bethlehem's historic Steel Stacks and is in the middle of the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Sand Island trail. Simply put, Sand Island Tennis is one of Bethlehem's hidden gems.

In 2022, Winning Touch Tennis (2006 & 2013 USTA EPD's "Tennis Club of the Year") will be overseeing the management of the facility. We are eager to provide more opportunities to our community, but will need your help ensuring that we will be able to effectively operate Sand Island. We have a goal to reach 100 members by March 1st to help us ensure that we will be able to provide the tennis environment and community the Bethlehem and Lehigh Valley community deserve on the beautiful Har-Tru courts at Sand Island!

Monday, Wednesday, Friday....8am-1pm | 4pm-8pm
Tuesday, Thursday....8am-12:30 pm | 4pm-8pm
Saturday & Sunday...................8am-2pm
​*Based on daylight & budget, reduced hours of operation may be necessary after Labor Day.

Each member of our team is certified by either the U.S.P.T.A. or the U.S.P.T.R. and is a career teaching professional.

Leagues

​Looking for a little friendly competition? We offer a variety of different leagues (singles, senior singles, doubles, senior doubles, and mixed doubles) to fit your skills and desires. All of our leagues are self-scheduled, meaning that players are responsible for contacting opponents and setting up matches once the contact sheet is distributed.
